Buying houses in Mayfield and across Graves County, tornado-damaged or not.
Mayfield is roughly 25 minutes south of Paducah on the Purchase Parkway, and I'm there regularly. If you own a house in town or out in the county, I can look at it in person rather than sending you a form-letter offer sight unseen.
The December 2021 tornado changed this market permanently. Some homeowners rebuilt, some took the insurance money and moved, and some are still sitting on a lot or a partially repaired house they never wanted to deal with. I buy those — repaired, half-repaired, or still damaged — and I don't need the insurance claim to be tidy before we talk.
Outside of storm damage, most of what I see in Graves County is ordinary: an inherited farmhouse near Fancy Farm or Sedalia, a rental in town that's gone downhill, or a home that needs a roof and HVAC the owner isn't going to pay for. Those all still sell to me as-is.
